On cask for Cask & Ye Shall Receive held at MacLeod Ale Brewing Company in Van Nuys, CA.
Pours a hazy orange with no head. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, earth, nut, lemon juice, and lemon zest aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, earth, nut, and lemon juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.
Serving type: on cask.
