Let me start out by saying that I love Mosaic hops, a lot, so I naturally enjoyed this. The smell is of fresh hops, the taste however didn't show me as much as I wanted. For being a triple IPA, a huge hop presence is missing in the taste. You definitely cannot taste the 12.3%, not hot at all.

Consumed on draft July 6th at West 4th and Jane, Santa Monica.
Beer is proper-looking - medium yellow, respectable off-white head. It's the aroma that first raises an eyebrow: pine sap and resin and pepper and dank. This may be the most intense hop aroma I have ever gotten off a beer.
Flavor is similar - sharp and strong and massively hoppy with only a hint of malt to balance and significant though not disagreeable bitterness. This beer is huge.
Medium-bodied, properly carbonated. Not as sticky or thick or resiny as expected. No real alcohol presence.
This was a pleasant surprise!

Had this on 2015-06-29 in Concord, CA at The Hop Grenade
clear gold with a short white head. Big dank and floral. Tropical fruit, apricot, dank buds, onion, earthy spice, pepper and pretty decent bitterness. Some alcohol flavor and burn. Quite dry.
