This is described as a "Belgian Golden Strong Ale." On tap at Tiger Tiger in San Diego. Clear golden brew with ample foam in the small snifter. Tangy and fruity. Strong and brain-filling.
Overall, this is nicely sharpened up with a little fruity acidity. Clean and fresh tasting. Sweet but not overly sweet. A lovely balance. Some intriguing aromatics-- celery? pears? A Belgian-inspired brew that is very sippable and well worth trying.

On tap at Whole Foods in Venice, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, honey, fruit, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, honey, fruit, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid aromas, but the taste is slightly better to me.
Serving type: on tap.
