Clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the tall Stout glass. Aromatic with cucumber, green melon, and a whiff of onion. Hugely flavorful for the restrained alcohol content. Tastes of green pepper, honedeyw, and a touch of tart apricot, all high notes on the crisp but slightly malty background.
Very fragrant and hoppy. One of the better hoppy lagers I've tasted. Happy to drink another, if I had one. Clearly not a "light lager" as originally categorized. From the 16 oz can shipped from Best Damn in San Diego.

Initial thought: I think this is a pretty damn good beer. Like the first time I saw my baby mama in lingerie, I’m thinking we got a keeper here. Now, this beer doesn’t have the depth like my BM’s backside in said Victoria Secret garb; but it’s light, and balanced, and it has a wonderful grassy flavor on the palate like a pasture raised cow having breakfast.
I am simply pleased with this one.
