Palate Contaminants: none
This is a collaboration with Magnanimous out of Florida. The style is identified as a Brut India Pale Lager.
Color is a light gold. At the right angles and with the right light source, it filters slightly shorter wavelength green light. Good amount of very fine head that disappears too quickly, not leaving much lacing, either.
Scent isn't particularly strong. (Also known as "weak.") The hop varietals are obviously fine grade, giving off grapefruit and pine, but those are relative clichés. So, it's very pleasant, yet very weak.
Oh, all the good stuff is in the taste. Well, that's where I'd rather have it, anyway. It has a surprising amount of fruit, white grape and apple. Lots of barley grain, too, and not overly malty. There's also some honey. The grass flavor is what I'd straight up call "lawn."
Lots of carbonation, call it medium coarse, although only lightly prickly. Alcohol could be better hidden. Aftertaste is bitter vegetation, although it's not notably intense.
