On tap for the 4th Anniversary event at Blue Palms Brewhouse in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours an almost opaque super dark brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. No lacing on this one. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and coffee. Taste is much the same along with a slight fruity taste and a mild amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good and drinkable beer but nothing all that exciting in my opinion.
