I tried a half pint of this beer off the tapper at the brewery pub in Dublin. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base and the subtle grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body but with good carbonation. Overall it was a good beer.

On-tap at Porterhouse Central, Dublin, Ireland
A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down and left a patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of pale malts and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of pale malts along with bits of sweetness and slight hints of citrusy hops. Hints of bitterness are perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink but more importantly is quite flavorful for a "light" beer.

Served on draught in the porterhouse temple bar. Poured into a pint glass.
A: One finger head of fair cream but poor retention. Transparent straw yellow colour. Unflattering.
Sm: Very light straw and barley. Poor and unappealing.
T: Straw but full and vibrant. Tamed by a wonderfully crisp fresh finish. Hoppier than anticipated. Balance favours the first half. Built decently.
Mf: Thick for the style. Nicely coarse yet smooth. Fizzy on the climax.
Dr: 4.70 Euro is far too steep (even by Dublin standards), but it's a well made brew for what it is.

Served in a small cylindrical glass at the brewpub in Dublin.
A: Overly pale, almost colourless. Very clear and the colour of white whine. No head, but there are some small white bubbles on the surface and some trickling up from the bottom.
S: Very little. Grain malt.
T: Good? Just maybe. Yes, yes I think it is. While reminiscent of American macrobrews, it excels them all in flavour. Sweet grain has a fruity edge and a crisp bite. The aftertaste is clean, but boring. Not great maybe, but very good for what it is.
M: Very grainy, but good. Sweet and strangely substantial.
D: I find it quite good, and I don't even like lagers. For that reason, I probably wouldn't ever have it again, but it's worth trying.

So you are suppose to drink this one cold? Sampled a sunny yellow color with great clarity. A fizzy head that quickly dissipated and no lacing to speak of.
The nose was off from the start. There was a noticeable butyric/infected aroma that lingered and seemed to come out more as it warmed. Some grainy notes and a light yeast note on the back end. Some minor spicy hop notes as well on the back end.
The taste is a bit off as well, but not as bad as the nose. The butyric notes come out with more of a dirty drains type of off note. Some husky and grainy notes. A bit butter like taste that was off setting as well. The yeast as present but not as off versus the nose. The hops were non-existent, would have liked something to help balance.
The body is light, as per style, but was really wispy too. Carbonation was a bit light as well. Overall just a limited beer with noticeable off notes.

After sampiling some very decent brews from the Porter House Brewery i was very shocked to taste this bland lifeless beer, why the hell did they bother making an Ice beer? It was quite sad to see a Ice beer in their line-up. This was unbeleivably bland, close to water.

A delicate flavour of flowers (orange flowers?). Sweet and malty, with a finish of delicate hop bitter. The body is a little poor. The word that can identify this beer is "delicate". Maybe a little too delicate for my taste.
