Proper dark body with tanned thick microscopic bubbled head that sticks
now I've yet to have a real proper mild any other way but cask
but this is the best looking bottled version I've had
Cocoa and roast on the nose
There is that sawdusty mild in there somewhere but the coffee and chocolate tastes override
The mouthfeel is right a little thin for the colour and just so slightly dull on the carbonation, just right for a classic mild.
It's not a million miles of and certainly one of the best bottled milds I have had
but just not quite spot on.
