500ml, bottle-conditioned. Poured hazy yellow, with diminishing head. Smell citrus. Taste: grapefruit and another fruit not known. Reasonable bitterness. Feel: fairly light-bodied, with lingering hop. Overall: a refreshing, flavoursome beer. Prefer Mallinsons Nelson Sauvin, which has a greater depth of flavour.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of May 2015. Purchased a while back from Trafalgar Wines in Brighton (I think). A single-hop pale ale brewed using Citra.
A: Poured into a tulip pint glass (twice). Bottle conditioned. A hazy pale-gold hue with fine sediment and crazy carbonation. Incredibly lively. Produces a vast head of fluffy white foam with a meringue-like consistency; this lasts for ages before slowly settling as a thick surface layer. Lovely lacing.
S: Aroma of bright, fruity hops with hints of grapefruit, peel, clementines, citrus, white grape, mango, passionfruit, subtle earthy yeast and light malt. Superb.
T: Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with a dry, bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, white grape, mango, passionfruit, earthy yeast, light malt and mild stewed hops. Well-attenuated, followed by a crisp, hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body. Quite astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, citrus notes and earthy yeast.
O: Excellent - a fantastic pale ale. Looks great (and insanely carbonated), while the aroma and flavour are wonderfully fruity and hoppy. Plenty of citrus and tropical fruit on display, underpinned by subtle malt and yeast notes. Body is alright. Goes down a treat; well worth sampling if you have the chance.
