500ml, bottle-conditioned. Pours clear golden, with lasting thick white head. Citric, spicy hop on the nose.
Taste of slightly soapy hop, Mouthfeel: light, short finish. Overall: refreshing beer.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of July 2014. Acquired a while back from Beeritz. A single-hop pale ale that contains Galaxy.
Poured into a tulip pint glass. Bottle conditioned. A hazy pale-gold hue with plenty of chunky sediment and light carbonation. Yields a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before settling as a patchy surface layer. Aroma of fruity hops with hints of lime, orange, citrus, faint white grape, mild grass/hay, earthy yeast and light malt. Nicely balanced, with a subtle leafiness in the background.
Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with a spicy bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, mild lime, citrus, subtle white grape, grass/hay, a hint of spice, earthy yeast and light malt. Well-attenuated, followed by a sharp fruitiness and a strident bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with decent carbonation and good body. Hop oils stimulate the palate. Rather astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of grassy, fruity hops, leafy bitterness and earthy yeast.
Lovely - a cracking pale ale with a great hoppy character. Looks alright, if a tad yeasty, while the aroma and flavour are laden with citrus, white fruit and yeast notes. Good body. Nicely balanced and goes down a treat. Well worth sampling if you have the chance.

It's hot and I need a beer on the bottle it reads
"Pale, Hoppy Gentle Citrus Fruits" and that is what I need right now.
So big lemon gummy coloured body with frothy white head with some huge bubbles in there but a decent enough looking drink
Big aroma's of fizzy lemon sherbet with the tiniest hint of grapefruit
I think Galaxy is a wonderful hop and it really is showcased here well
big citrus fruit on the tongue and it stays there as well
The bitterness slowly warms and becomes slightly yeasty and tangy
It is a solid beer and seems a lot stronger than the 4%
It's not heavy going though but it's not quite easy drinking
all in all a good thirst quencher and a great beer.
