Dark brown with two fingers of tan head. No lacing.
Smell is cocoa malty.
Taste is chocolate roasted malt with a hint of hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel I medium with good carbonation. Finish is mildly dry and balanced. Creamy and smooth.
Overall a tasty easy drinking Porter.

This beer pours smooth, dark brown, almost black out of the bottle. It looks rich, especially as the tightly formed dark tan bubbles cap the liquid below. Like Terry Porter himself, it sticks to the glass like glue, and it's everywhere.

Heavily toasted bread, coffee, molasses, and brown sugar entice the senses. No joke, my mouth waters when I smell this beer.

The flavor is a bit blurry. A good dose of dark chocolate, a hint of coffee, and toasted bread are present, and it's finalized with a combination of cola, a bit if berries, and metallic notes.

Slick, slightly creamy, bold, balanced, and wonderful are what comes to mind for the texture if this beer. It's a bit foamy and somehow manages to finish quite dry.

Is this a 3 point buzzer beater from half court to win the game? Perhaps not, but it's a wonderfully entertaining slam dunk of a porter. My only regret is not reaching for this sooner. Pick it up. Cheers.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass, with a half finger coffee colored head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt with a hint of char, chocolate, light vanilla and coffee. Flavor follows with mildly charry dark toasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate, slight vanilla, flavor thins out a bit in the finish leaving smoky dark malt and coffee taste. Medium bodied with slight creaminess. A nice, well toasted malt porter with good light smokiness, chocolate and coffee flavors. The finish is a little thin, leaving the burnt coffee and malt exposed, but with pleasant lingering toasted malt. A good porter and a good cause.

A beer brewed by legendary Portland Trailblazer basketball player with proceeds from each bottle going toward charity. Sounds like a novel idea, but the catch is that the beer is very good. A nice deep roasted malt, slightly smokey, and a dry finish.
