Look: Pitch black with a sudsy light brown head

Aroma: Roast, earthiness, baker’s cocoa, and tree nuts. It’s still cold and unpacking slowly…

Taste: Roast and cocoa come together well in the opening act and hit with a robust note that quickly subsides into a velvety one. Tree nuts show as the cocoa and roast trade blows throughout and through the close

Mouthfeel: Full, smooth, clean, medium-high carbonation, and smooth on the finish

Overall: I dig it. A tasty Oatmeal Stout with the usual cast of characters in tow. The oats definitely add to the smooth feel and a sub 6% ABV helps this one be a nice nightcap as I await my bill at the brewpub
