This beer is light bodied with significant hop presence. We use Nugget and Cascade hops which give the beer a refreshing grapefruit flavor. A great treat for these warm months.

A well-hopped, low alcohol beer. What a great pairing.
A: The ale is hazy, looking full and dense like a few saisons that I've had over the past few months. A half a finger of head, white, comes with the pint.
S: The hoppiness stands out, citrusy with grapefruit bitterness against a biscuity base. The base could easily pass for the Summer Ale with a lower alcohol content.
T: Hoppy, and straight to the point about it. The lightness of the malts allows the bitterness to shine through immediately. That bitterness, cascade and nugget, is grapefruity and sharp, a contrast to the lightness beneath it. I don't think that I've ever encountered such a strong hop presence in such a small beer, a true feat. Quaffable and then some, just below the Ding threshold for a session beer.
M: The mouthfeel is bitter and hoppy, pulling out all of its punches with the excessive hop profile. Possibly one of JoBoy's best.
