On cask in Lititz, aged 1 year.

Black body and a medium sized mocha colored head that lasted.

Smells of dark chocolate and strong sherry predominately. Maybe a little roasty coffee as well. This is an odd stout and I'm not altogether sure I liked it; at the very least it was intriguing. I tasted lots of rich dark chocolate and boozy vinous fruit, more fruit than I've ever tasted in a non-fruited stout. There was also fairly strong vinegar note that was very assertive at the start of each sip. Definitely not infection because the body was full and lush, but it was odd.

Not a bad beer but I wonder if it would have been better fresh.

Served on-tap at JoBoy's into a goblet. This one has been aged for 10 months.

A - Pours jet black with a creamy one finger tall mocha colored head leaving light streaks of lace down the glass.

S - Smells of coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, dark roasted malt, and some dark fruits. There is a tiny sherry twang at the end of each sniff. Not too bad.

T - Starts off with plenty of chocolatey sweetness slowly giving way to hints of coffee, caramel, vanilla, raisins, and dates. The sherry twang is present here as well but it does not intensify. The finish is a mix of dark roast and sweetness, lingering on the pallet for some time.

M - Heavy body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Smooth, rich, feel with a bit of booze creeping in as it comes up to room temperature.

O - Not too bad. I like the flavors this one is offering but it never really wow'ed me. Glad I got to try it.
