L - pours a light caramel brown that turns to a crimson red when held up to the light. Thin-looking and minimal head that dissipates quickly.
S - smells like a whole lotta alcoholic stuff, none of which is beer though! Cheap boxed white wine, a bit of rum sweetness, tequila freshness, and a touch of whiskey. But mostly Franzia Chardonnay.
T - was honestly expecting a lot more flavor after the nose! Feels muted, but there is definitely beer in here. Tastes like a generic Porter with a bit of barrel. Not even bourbon... more like a cheap whiskey. Little bit of salt in the finish, which is weird.
F - best part about this beer. Surprisingly full-bodied and robust considering its low flavor and ABV.
O - this was way better at the "brewery" on tap, and even then I wasn't impressed. I put "brewery" in quotes because this was the most rinky dink spot ever. I kinda liked it though. They keep the tasting room door locked because the guy is usually in the back brewing the beer. Gotta go find him if you want to drink! Super nice, super friendly, beer is only okay though.
