This was poured into a weizen glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to yellow color with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Filmy lacing roamed all around nicely and slid into the beer nicely. The smell had the normal qualities of a hefeweizen and settling nicely with the clove and banana esters,.ssweet and nice. The taste was mainly the same as was previously mentioned in the aroma. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Overall, pretty good hefeweizen I could come back to.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a bright yellow color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains wheat, light caramelized malts, citrus and some hops.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and bananas. Then some breadiness comes in from wheat and a thin malt character. The hops presence is mil but complementary and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, there are better choices in the style but it’s not a bad beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for the style.

Poured from a bomber into a weisse-vase, the beer is a bright, slightly hazed, straw-gold coloring with a fast flow of carbonation throughout. Aromas of toasted grain, with subtle lemon and banana highlights. Low profile nose. Flavors are roast and floral forward, with a banana and very light clove spicing to follow. Kind of weak on the palate, with a sharp character secondary to the light body and increased carbonation. Aftertaste is buttery, with some errant esthers and limp spicing profiles. Meh.

22oz bottle purchased as a single from somewhere in the Middlebury/Burlington area.

Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1" off-white head over the clear light golden brew. Head fizzles away very slowly, with sporadic chunky lacing. Aroma is standard clove/banana character.

Taste follows the nose, clove upfront, banana comes on in the middle, closes with somewhat earthy hops bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth but pretty thin, and drinkability is okay. Good for a thirst-quencher, not so much as a deep wheaty hefe.

A: The beer is hazy light yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger and a half high white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of fruity yeast are present in the nose—bananas seem to stand out in particular along with some notes of pears and wheat.
T: The taste has flavors of wheat along with notes of bananas and hints of clove.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink, but I wouldn’t call it thirst quenching.

Bright gold with a nice white head into my glass. I don't see the cloudiness that is attributed to hefeweizens.

A faint aroma of banana and clove shows up in the nose. Not as pronounced as I'd like but it does fit the style.

What you get is a very quaffable APWA with more of that clove texture in the taste. It's very crisp. Almost dry.

I don't like the way it feels in the mouth. The carbonation is probably to blame. It finishes in an unremarkable manner.

Not bad, but not great. It gets the job done if you want to quaff something but I would recommend that on a hot day due to the carbonation level.
