A: Thin head on a near jet black head with a faint glimmer of light coming through. Some lacing.
S: perfect degree of habanero and chipotle like pepper aroma but the base beer is covered up quite a bit.
T: the habanero is there throughout but it's not offensively overdone. The base beer comes in at the finish with chocolate and roasted malt. A slight pepper spiciness and burn in the aftertaste.
M: medium body and moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: the trick with the peppered beers is keeping the base beer in play without being overdone.
