Half finger off white head on a hazy amber with slight golden hue body. Nice lacing. Aroma of candy sugar, caramel malts and hints of pine resin. Flavor is very malty and a little tart with caramel sweetness and citrus hop notes. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall a little too boozy even for the style but this improves as its enjoyed. Verging more into barleywine territory.
