Thin tan head with excellent lacing on a jet black body. Vanilla and chocolate malt aroma, with lots of mint coming through. Flavor is also dominated by mint with mostly spearmint and some peppermint. Base beer provides milk chocolate and vanilla sweetness, hint of coffee on a roasted malt base. Smooth, light to medium body and low carbonation. This brewer definitely does a nice job with mint flavored brews and this is a nice base beer that is drinkable with the booze well hidden for the ABV. Nicely done.
