Bottle: Poured a clear medium copper color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light biscuit malt notes with medium level of sweetness. Taste is also a nice enough mix of dry fruits and biscuity malt. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not too bad considering the inconsistency of this brewer and it appears they change their yeast strain which I wasn’t a big fan of.

An initially big off-white head proudly covers its 10%+ mounting, it manages to somehow sticks to glass while fully diminishing which remains impressive for a beverage of that magnitude. The body is of a slihtly hazy orange and offers a rather rich malty nose, with toffee, butterscotch, soft caramel, riped fruits notes. Accessible, yet to style and with a mild english hop profile. Peachy palate with very sweet caramel, not all that rich unlike the nose, but certainly hiding its alcohol well. Creamy body with a bit too high carbonation. Hops could be more assertive to counterpart the mostly one-dimensional caramel boosted peach.

This barleywine is an awesome dark copper colour with a nice head, and good lacing. The aroma is of sweet malts, alcohol, honey, and more! The taste is full of sweet malt and honey flavors. Spicy/herbal hops are in the mix as well as a deep hop finish. The mouthfeel is thick and slightly syrupy and the drinkaility is very, very good!
