Another fine beer from La Barberie.
Light smell of hops which is also found in the taste with a little touch of malt. This taste is not as strong as it is usually found in bock! but nevertheless I liked it. Probably the best bock out there but still this is a good beer if you forget the style. Would drink more of that one!

Nearly no head but the ring remnants leave some spotty lace. Darker amber color and reasonably clear.
A not-so-sweet malty aroma. No notable hop.
The body is too thin for the style. The liquor is more dry than most bocks. The hop is very present, again, more than expected.
Overall, I'd describe this as a flavorful brown lager, not a bock. It's tasty and worthy of a try with an open un-bock-like mind.
