Pours pitch black with a three-finger brown head that sticks around for quite some time.

Aromas of coconut dominate, with little else present. Hints of malted chocolate and cocoa along with that particular sweetness of a cookies and creme candy bar.

The taste is similar, with coconut as the prima donna and primo uomo, completely overshadowing the supporting cast. There's some milk and malted chocolate at the front of the sip, roast coffee at the middle and especially near the finish, and some toasted brown bread that builds to the finish. The finish saves the beer with a nice hit of roast and earth bitterness along with some char to cleanse all that coconut. As it warms, though, toasted coconut comes through on the aftertaste, bring us right back to the start.

Oh but that feel! Full bodied, thick, smooth, luxurious. Just enough carb to keep lively, but it still coats the mouth like velvet.

Overall, hmm. Looks great, feels absolutely wonderful, but lacks any substance or depth of aroma and taste.

Pours a ruddy, dark, opaque brown color with a massive head of tan foam that hangs around for a long time. The aroma reminds me of a Mounds bar, Notes of chocolate and coconut stand out, Taste follows suit - the coconut is the starring role with fellow coffee cast member in the background. Roasty, slight bitterness from the coffee and a hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel is modest leaning towards the thinner side of creamy. Overall, an very enjoyable beer that's a pleasure to sip on a chilly evening.

Had on tap. Pours opaque, dark brown in color with 1/3 inch head. Tastes like custard, light coconut, chocolate roast and light coffee. Sweet medium bodied and carbonation. All I could think of when I had this was wow this is a Bostom creme doughnut and coffee all rolled into one. Really interesting dessert beer. Not sure I would want a six, but as a nightcap it was perfect.

Dark brown but light passes through the center of the glass. Tiny head which leaves only a few minor spots for lace.

Starts with darker, maybe crystal, malt but soon I detect a distinct coffee aroma.

More chocolatey than coffee initially (i.e. chocolate mocha start). The coconut is strong afterwards, dominating the swallow and aftertaste. Full bodied with a neutral effervescence. Interesting with complimentary flavors.

Pretty sure this is the Toasted Coconut Cream Coffee Porter that I had tonight. This beer had a thick, solid black appearance with a very thick, light brown head. Aromas were not too strong, but could sense a lightly toasted coffee, little vanilla, smell. The taste, however, was incredible. A combination of that coconut flavor wrapped in a creamy, milk coffee beer with a bitter aftertaste. The beer was pretty creamy in terms of mouthfeel so it served as a good dessert after eating some wings. Overall, a very nice flavored porter.

From a 16oz can, purchased at the brewery. Served in a nonic.

Pours a dark semi-opaque with garnet highlights, like cherry cola, and a finger of tawny, rocky head. Retention is good for a couple of minutes before settling back to some sparse suds with meager lacing.

Not much in the way of nose, a little toast and marshmallow, a slight metallic tang.

Tastes of milk chocolate, marshmallows and toasted coconut. Mallo Cup? Charred, roasted grain and chicory and then coconut again, shredded, unsweetened this time, finishing with a little slick bitterness.

Mouthfeel is disappointingly thin, but well carbonated and drying at the end.

A decent enough light-bodied amended porter. I had it on tap at the brewery sandwiched between a stout and a wee heavy which was so unfair that I brought a can home to try on its own. So, overall, better out of the can than draft, nothing 'wow' but not a disappointment, either. I'd drink it again but I think the coconut would show better if the base beer carried a bit more heft.

New tallboys, more reason to go get the best wings and great beer.

A- Tallboy can into a goblet and a wine glass with a very deep brown body and an off-white head. The head really makes it to just a small pillow with fair retention dying out to a medium foamy ring. Despite the head retention plenty of spotty lace sticks on the glass.

S- Toasted coconut extract. This is the same aroma I got when I soaked toasted coconut flakes in vodka for a few weeks for homebrew, not boozy but straight up caramelized coconut. Reminds me of Bourbon a bit. Hints of cocoa, toast and toffee.

T- As in the nose the coconut essence is very strong with this one. Toasted coconut jumps out onto the palate and the entire experience reminds me of the glorious Samoa girl-scout cookie. Caramelized sugars, toffee, vanilla sweets, milk chocolate, nuttiness, cereal grains and again wet oaky bourbon hints.

MF- Carbonation is lacking just a bit and explains why the head didn't rise higher, a medium-low level of bubbles. The body itself is moderately thick and slightly slick.

Coconut is strong with this one. The underlying Porter is leaning towards the brown side of the spectrum but still gets along very well with the toasted coconut. The cans and new brews by ABC seem to be on the up-and-up.
