Got a 4 pack from the Hangar for a pretty reasonable price. This was my second favorite, behind some sour whose name I forgot. Juliette pours a hazy light yellow with lasting white head. Aroma and taste are nearly identical: bright lemon, lemongrass, and grapefruit with mild herbal quality. The hops create a mild bitterness, but are pretty uninteresting after the citrus explodes on your tongue. It's smooth with medium carbonation and an enjoyable drink.
Overall, I checked yes.

Pours a pale, hazy orange finding some translucency where it touches the glass. A finger of white foam reducing to a nice ring and tons of soapy lacing. Aroma is lemon, lime, grapefruit, biscuit, and dank hop. Taste follows suit, not too sweet. Finishes tangy citrus with high carbonation and good bite. Decent beer.

PKG ON 06/04/21.
A: Hazy light amber with 1-finger off-white frothy head with good retention and thick craggy lacing.
S: Citrus and mango with strong herbal, weed note throughout
T: Flavor also with strong grapefruit citrus, pineapple, and a strong lemongrass herbal undercurrent throughout the flavor with a slightly sweet cookie flavor in the finish. Moderate bitterness which I enjoyed. Esters are subdued.
M: Soft, smooth feel with pretty dry finish. I am really liking these AB beers' feel - WC and hazy aspects blended very nicely.
O: A little overly herbal to my taste but for those who like a more shaggy hop character to their NEIPA.

No can date
Pours a small foamy head with med retention, nice lacing, hazy cloudy pale orange color
Nose brings lots of citrus, soft juicy citrus, tangerine, orange, mango, some lemon zest, hint of tropical, and very light malt and flaked oats/wheat
Taste brings more of the citrus up front, orange and mango up front, with some green citrus and lemon/lime zest notes, light doughy creamy malt and flaked oats/wheat again, malt in general is lighter than it feels like it should be and a light alcohol comes through, almost no bitterness up front, drier finish with a bit more bitter rind lingering
Mouth is med to lighter bod, but a bit creamy and soft, med foamy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall not bad, but a bit too light overall I feel

Super hazy orange-yellow with two fingers of yellowed head. Thick lacing. Banana, citrus and play-doh in both the nose and taste. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Below par.

AMHERST BREWING JULIETTE DIPA 7/3/19
A single 16 oz. can gifted by a daughter today, had at dinner
a; Cloudy yellow/orange with an inch thick white head which receded to a thin ring of surface foam and spotty lacing.
s: Fairly intense citrus leaning to tangerine
t; Appealing citrus over a solid malt base, nicely balanced so that lingering bitterness is minimal despite 90 IBU rating on the can.
m; Medium, very good body and some carbonation tingle.
o; An excellent NE style DIPA, well done, highly drinkable and enjoyable.

During the past year or two, I've purchased a variety of Amherst IPAs at the brewery location. I've particularly been a big fan of both Jess and Marissa but have now concluded that Juliette has won my heart. Somehow the blend of oats, wheat and hops along with a 7.3% ABV produces a tasty IPA with plenty of body yet with little emphasis on the alcohol. Amherst Brewing has no retail distribution in my home NH area but I've recently seen some distribution in western MA. On my frequent visits to that area, Juliette will be my companion on the trip home.

Picked up a new local brew. Juliette is a new appearance at the store, cans not dated but it must be fresh. Cloudy dark gold color of unfiltered brew. Citrus snaps the nose, taste with high IBU hop kick that coats your mouth and palette as the glass laces to the bottom of the affair. She's hot when you drink her cold. Love her image on the can. I'll have to visit the ABC hanger.

Nice candied fruit smell from the cloudy golden look. Taste follows nose with a nice little hop bite at end. Feel is midium. Would buy this again. Very nice NE style IPA.
