A- Pitch black motor oil pour from the taps into a goblet with a deep mocha tan head. Frothy ring leads to a few wide sheets of lace.
S- Very large cocoa presence opens up the aroma with burnt barley, toasted nuts, caramel, heavy wet oak wood, burnt marshmallow, vanilla and a hint of whiskey beyond it.
T- Opens up with a very heavily roasted almost burnt or ashy flavor that eventually leads to intense dark chocolate, toasted nuts, roast marshmallow, licorice, intense woodiness, spicy whiskey and coffee grounds.
MF- Thick overall body with a creamy and frothy texture on the palate. Slick oily consistency and medium carbonation. Finishes rather warm.
Wood dominates a bit as it overwhelms a nice base brew that is heavy on the dark chocolate, burnt grains and roast marshmallow.
