Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear orange-pumpkin color with a tiny fizzy foam head. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a lightly toasted pumpkin smell mixed with strong notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Along with these smells comes a sweet brown sugar and caramel and notes of pastry and dough. Smells like a pumpkin pie treat.
Taste – The taste starts with a nice sweet and smooth pumpkin flavor with lots of caramel and brown sugar as well as some biscuit and bread. The spice is there as well, adding a nice mild pumpkin pie spice flavor to the brew. As the taste advances the maltier flavors fade a tad, leaving one with a nice sweet pumpkin pie puree like flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is rather middle of the road in thickness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A quite nice pumpkin brew. Very balanced and easy drinking, while having tons of nice flavor. Well done.

Taps at the source.
A- Golden copper body poured from the taps into a shaker pint glass. One finger white head with good retention. Medium belt forms at the edges dropping wide thin sheets of lace.
S- Moderate mild aroma with balance of spices and malts. Ginger, clove caramel malts, vanilla and nutmeg all prominent. Pale fruits but not out of line. Balance is the key here.
T- Again balanced is mostly what comes to mind as in the aroma. Medium spice level works well with the toasty caramel grains. Not sweet. Ginger leads to nutmeg, clove, vanilla sweets, and brown sugar. Clean ferment.
MF- Medium bodied overall with a crisp touch. Somewhat creamy and a pinch of bitterness in the finish.
Good balance with spice flavors that are prominent but not nearly a turnoff. Drinkable and standsout in a style where people often go over the top with spices.
