Brewery description: "Special Juliette brewed for our 20th Anniversary. Galaxy and Citra Lupulin Powder in the whirlpool and dry-hop"
A- Hazy and murky turbid yellow body pour from the taps to a snifter, a bit on the swampy-cidery side. Half finger fluffy white head makes it to about a finger high. Decent head retention. Tiny ring remains at the edges that leaves big webs of lace.
S- Mango, bubble gum and papaya with a juicy tropical stone fruit emphasis. Hints of tangerine and general citrus. Hops far and away the focus as one would expect. Dank.
T- Follows aroma nicely with same basic mango, tropical and stone fruit hop nectar focus but more herbal and floral here as well. Some grapefruit and it's pithy bitterness. Dry overall brew. Slight berry and spice. Tropical bubble gum juice is a decent summary.
MF- Medium body with a slickness and a creamy texture. Smooth on the palate. Light bitterness in the finish.
Tropical fruits, bubble gum and juiciness in this special version of a great IPA.
