A- Golden copper with a small white, fizzy head. The pillow retains decently and leaves a nice coat of lace.
S- Straight up pale ale elements. Smells mostly of pale ale hops, some earthy, citrus and grassy notes.
T- Pale ale malt with a background hop presence that makes the stage for great chili flavor. It tastes like cayenne peppers but has a toasty, roasty chili seed flavor as well. I also get bit of grainy cocoa.
MF- Fairly watery with low carbonation. The carbonation should be a bit higher for the flavors at hand. It is pretty refreshing and the amount of spice is medium burn and tolerable. Probably fairly spicy for non-chili lovers.
DB- Love the pepper flavors and the balance of it. It is at no time unbearable. Just a successful addition of pepper to a pale ale which chili lovers would adore.
