This is their North Pleasant Pale Ale with key lime pie features added along with food colouring. Oh Yah, this bad boy is bright green!
A - Poured into a pint glass a crystal clear dark green hue with a two finger creamy white head that fades to leave a thin blanket and nice creamy lacing. GREEN! Like, Crayola forest green!
S - Aromas of well...key lime pie! Key lime citrus, whipped egg white baked Alaska, Graham crackers. Dessert in a glass!
T - Taste is not quite as good as the nose but damnclose. Much more marshmallow like flavours, Graham cracker crust, key lime citrus and custard filling mix. Grisly does fast like a liquefied key lime pie. The finish is a hair too bitter key lime zest for my liking.
M - Mouthfeel is super silky and creamy. Hair of carbonation. Spot on for a cask. Works well with the flavour.
O - Overall this beer was everything I'd hoped it would be. So glad I got to try this beer. Love it. Its not quite as epic for me as their pistachio cream pie I had a long time ago but damn close. Argh! I love their cask beer!
