Lable reads: 'Brewed in reminiscence of the beer supplied to the British colonials stationed in India'. So clearly the style is English India Pale Ale/IPA.

L- Chestnut brown, clear, 2mm very pale tan head. 3.75
S- Quite bright + fresh 3.75
T- Bright, zinging fresh hops briefly come in, some decent malt, then quite roasty-toasty. Nice flavour journey there. 4.25
F- They have mastered bright and refreshing whilst also having some malty guts to balance it out. 4
O- Very well put together and balanced, kudos for that. A quite trad yet authentic quality IPA, no 'buble-gum, lychee, guava, or other, silly flavours' this is a beer that tastes like beer, like authentic gutsy IPA; hurrah!
As I sip on: ... the meaty malts vs bright hops balance is spot on. Come to think of it this is one of the most accomplished Singaporean beers I have had (c30 years experience thereof). 4.25
330ml bottle, very elegant lable image of details of Peranakan shop-house fronts. 5.8% brewed up on Dempsey Hill (wonder if can visit when up there for brunch one day?) BB: 09/09-2024 unpasteurised/unfiltered.
I'll be looking out for this brewery, this brew is so polished/clean/balanced it's very impressive.
