Bottle conditioned: 500ml's best before the end of Oct 2012, some 5 days away. The beer is 5% ABV and was poured slowly @ home into an Abbot Ale glass tankard.
No sediment left the bottle in my gentle pour: clear, bright, chestnut reddish body, the head a full covering of white foam which hung around for the duration of the tasting.
Feels and smells like a 'winter warmer' sort of beer, rich, woody and Christmassy. The malts are roasted and full flavoured in the aroma and taste, toffee being the main maltiness I got. Fruity hop notes in the mix as well, a liquid toffee apple with extra candid fruits as the beer warms in the glass.
The actual body depth isn't that heavy or full, but the flavours carry the beer nicely and the 5% ABV sits well overall.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
