On cask at Farmhouse.
L: Dark brown to black with no head.
S: Roasted malts, chocolate, and vanilla.
T: Muted flavors of regular Everett with a tiny hint of vanilla on the back end.
M: Medium-full with no carbonation.
O: This was a disappointment. The vanilla did not enhance the flavors of the base beer. The cask offering eliminated the carbonation that makes Everett so easy to drink.

on cask at Farmhouse Tap & Grill poured into a tulip.
A~ black as night with a tiny tan head and no lacing.
S~ little muted but slight roasty malt and a nice amount of vanilla.
T~ still slightly muted here but the vanilla actually works well but still takes away from some of the amazing aspects of regular Everett. roasted malt, burnt coffee, and more vanilla.
M~ definitely smoother from the cask, nice carb and extremely drinkable.
O~ once again i don't think there is any need to mess with a perfect porter (IMO) barrel aging doesn't do it justice and the vanilla here just seemed to mute some of the other amazing flavors. definitely worth a try though!
