S -- Hay, dried lemon peel, wheat funk, white peach, coconut cream, fresh floral, hint of vanilla. Delicate and complex
T -- Lemon candy, white oak, wheat, tropical fruit, apple cider vinegar. Wee bit acetic
F -- Soft, fluffy, rounded
O -- Reminds me of Flora more than base Dorothy reminds me of Florence. Tasty

B2, bottled April 4, 2017, drank March 17, 2025. Just about the best beer I've had in years - it was hard not to give it a 5 across the board but I tried to be objective. It was literally like drinking liquid gold. Enough had been said so I'll let the experts say what's already been said, but my hope is to grab more of the next time I can. Fantastic.

The beer pours a nice golden color, honey hues, light ambers with a slight haze, and a foamy white head that offers modest retention and some spotted lacing. The aroma is great, lots of candied hop, very earthy and piney, some brighter stone fruits emerge, soft grains, chewy oak, lots of wine character, very floral and a nice funkiness. The flavors are very good, lots of candied hop, green, citrusy, grassy, offers a nice herbal earthiness, the funk really draws out the fruit character of the beer, lots of white grape and peach, vinous oak barrel, pine, pale grain and lingering mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, lively medium body, tart, crisp, bright, coating and with a dry finish.

Verdict: A delicious barrel aged saison. Super floral and earthy, the dry hopping really adds something to this beer, great wine and barrel character and the balance is tremendous. Super complex with layers and layers of flavor.
