On cask at the tasting room during FoFA weekend. What a treat this was. Nice pillowy head and coffee and vanilla were not overpowering. As usual for HF, pretty much perfection.

On cask at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Bend, VT.
This one pours a thick-looking and glossy dark black, with a big fluffy and mocha-colored head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like roasty and smoky coffee, some burnt caramel, sea salt, heavy roast, vanilla, and lactose.
This is very creamy, but a little thin, as it was poured on cask. It's very drinkable despite the (presumed) high ABV.
I don't usually like cask beers, but leave it to my favorite brewery to actually pour a cask beer that I really enjoy.
