Damn. I had no idea there were so many versions of this beer.
Anyway, the beer pours a brilliant, hazy apricot color into my Founder's teku glass. Head retention and lacing are both pretty decent in this attractive looking hazy IPA. The nose is about what I would expect, given the hops used in brewing this beer, but suffice it to say there is a considerable aroma of apricot, peach, mango and papaya. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, and the beer finishes well with some light bitterness on a dry frame. There's some orange and grapefruit citrus going on as well in the flavor profile that is attractive. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile (would guess it's probably in the 6% to 6.5% range), and mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a long, clean finish. So drinkability is pretty decent.
While nothing extraordinary, this is still a well crafted, pretty easy to drink IPA from the folks at Hill Farmstead.

by Sabtos from Ohio
Opaque dark orange with a soft, off-white foam leaving fuzzy, spongy walls.
Smell is orange, mango and pineapple with hints of cannabis, biscuit and pepper. All of this is lighter and not as potent as it sounds.
Taste starts with biscuit, grapefruit and mango that quickly gives way to a crisp grassiness and a bitterly peppery, biting pine finish, making this closer to a sharp Pilsener than you'd expect for an IPA.
A light airy froth lifts a light-medium body with a powder dry finish.

beautiful looking brew. nose is danks, grassy, grapefruit, sweet malts, ripe fruit, hint of bubblegum. palate follows with a candied orange and grapefruit note up front, pithy, grassy slightly green, danky, peach, berry bush, pine. lots of depth and all well balanced between earthy green, fruity hop, and sweet malt character. quality mouthfeel.

Honored to be the first to review another amazing Hill Farmstead IPA. I'm growing particularly
fond of the Difference & Repetition series to see how Hill juxtaposes various hops with the one constant
hop: Simcoe. I'm unfamiliar with Enigma hops, but judging by the wow factor in the flavor spectrum, with the help of Mosaic, this is one explosively juicy IPA with a delectable long lasting pungent finish. Can states no ABV, but the poster board in the retail shop stated 6% ABV: right in the flavor zone for the juicy hop goodness: highly recommended.
