Lager that is bitter with the complexity of an ale. I really like lagers but one would be hard pressed to realize the beer is a lager. The smell is slightly skunky but the taste is bitter and comes off the palate very quickly.

On draft at Three Penny. Pint glass. Relatively clear golden yellow body, one finger white head. Mild grainy sweetness, a bit of biscuit, a fairly minimal hop bite to it. It seems fairly lacking as far as the flavour goes, fairly mild and restrained without much to it. It's a decent drinker with a medium lighter carbonation to it. But ultimately, falls well short of the admittedly high Hill Farmstead APA standard.
