12oz can, Hill Farmstead willi becher glass. Cloudy lighter golden yellow body, one finger white head, good retention, frothy lacing and collar. Smell is spicy resin, floral, tropical fruit, grapefruit. Nice resinous herbal nose, minimal caramel, touch of sugar, fruity esters. Flavour is not as flamboyant as the nose; there is a sweeter crackery grain with a mild-moderate pine and resin bitterness, a bit of leafy herbal bitterness also. The hops that manifest so well on the nose are relegated to their bittering components on the palate. Excellent, no doubt, but certainly a step down. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, creamy with a smooth, mild resin bitterness on the backend.

Canned 8/05/19
Pours a huge frothy 2 finger white head, great retention and soapy lacing, never seems to fade, hazy cloudy medium-orange slight tan color
Nose is loaded with fresh hops, hop lupulin powder like, with spicy hops that even seem a bit "green", fresh citrus, pineapple and generic tropical notes, with some dank musty notes, and a little grapefruit, very grassy and a little spicy/floral, very little cereal grain malt
Taste a bit of sweet creamy malt, doughy like and some cereal grain, flaked wheat or oats, and lots of soft juicy like soft mineral additions with the suspended proteins, plenty of hops, a bit "green" again with dank notes, very grassy and floral, turning a little spicy with plenty of grapefruit pith and pineapple with light generic tropical, some citrus, quite pithy, very spicy dank in the middle but softening a bit as it dries on the finish, lighter dry finish, a bit spicy grassy and more grapefruit pith and light tropical
Mouth is medium bodied, super soft creamy juicy like, medium carb
Overall pretty good NEIPA, gets a little spicy and green, and a bit dank, but otherwise good, nice base, good soft juicy feel, hops have some good fruits despite the grassy dankness, but enjoyable

Picked up a 6 pack of this at the brewery today and split the 6 pack with JLindros.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy golden orange hue with a thick one finger white head that fades slowly to leave big sticky lacing and a creamy thin blanket.
S - Aromas of dank hops, enormous weed aroma going on here from the Amarillo...just crazy. It actually almost over powers that lightly tropical Galaxy profile. As it warms there is some nice stone fruit and pineapple but swirls immediately knock that back and that dank weed is all I get.
T - Taste is not nearly as Amarillo assertive as the nose. Getting big green pineapple and clean orange juice followed by nice tropical fruits. The lingering finish is some dank bitterness before finishing with that strong, assertive Amarillo dank weed flavour. It's almost the inverse of the nose.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, little creamy, good body but it feels just a touch thin.
O - Overall this was a solid IPA. I think the Amarillo was on the aggressive side regarding the nose and really masked some of those great Galaxy hop aromas. Still though this is a solid beer.
