I get the idea, but this was not well executed imo. I typically love most everything Hill puts out, but this tastes like it wasn't thought out. If you are into the style, it's still worth a shot, but generally I would recommend other breweries that have been doing reds for a while over this beer.
Definitely my least favorite Hill Farmstead beer.
