This offering in our explorative series of Farmstead® India Pale Ales was brewed in December of 2020 with Amarillo® hops selected during the 2019 hop harvest in Washington State’s Yakima Valley. Following nearly seven months in our puncheons, it was dry-hopped with that same Amarillo® and has conditioned in bottle since.

Semi-clear mellow yellow appearance, soapy white head, good retention, spotty lacing. Fruity, floral, citrus, lemon notes. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like juicy orange, bitter funkiness, clean pine bitterness, lemony acidity, and oak.
This is absolutely one of the best entries in one of my favorite series from my favorite brewery. It's maybe top 5, and there's been a lot of these. The interplay of hop character and rustic funk is about perfect here - with lemony funk and acidity, a touch of oak, a hint of wine grape, and lots of orange, melon, and grapefruity hop character, with a very clean and refreshing bitterness. Amarillo is an underrated hop, and it's done very, very well here.
This is light bodied, clean, and very crisp, with a wonderful drinkability.
Dry hopped saisons, farmhouse IPAs, whatever you want to call them - they're always going to be a favorite of mine.

750 mL bottle. Cloudy yellow. Smells of herbal hops, light citrus, white pepper, doughy malt. Tastes of doughy malt, peppery hops, grassy bitterness. Bitter Brett finish. Medium body. This is excellent and one of the better Self Reliance variants I've had.
