Society & Solitude #13 features HBC 586, Simcoe, and Strata hops. Developed by the Hop Breeding Co. (a joint venture between John I. Haas and Yakima Chief Ranches), HBC 586 is perhaps our favorite HBC varietal in the last decade. Strata—a variety developed by Indie Hops via Oregon State’s Aroma Hop Breeding Program—provides a unique complexity of aromas that buttresses the qualities we enjoy most with our hand-selected Simcoe® hops.

16oz can dated 9/17/24.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch of white fluff. Moderate retention and lacing. Unripe peach, dried mango, white grape in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Mango, apricots, candied orange on the palate. Finishes a bit sweet with minimal malt and a balancing bitterness.
