750 mL growler. Hazy light orange with a big white head. Smell is lemon and tangerine. Kinda earthy and pithy. Doesn't smell sweet like other HF pales. Taste, again, isn't that sweet. Hops lend grapefruit, garlic, some spiciness almost like rye, and pine. Finish is bitter grapefruit. Medium light body. No experience with motueka hops before this beer, so I didn't know what to expect. Standard HF craftsmanship, although this hop doesn't lend itself to quickly dispatching glass after glass like, say, Nelson or Citra.

Labeled as a pale ale, I say NAY, this is a hazy IPA. Color is light yellow, maybe straw yellow in color with a thick, froth, white head. Nose is is lemony. Taste is floral, sweet with a slight bitterness on backend.

On tap at The Sheffield in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemon/lime, like most Motueka things, with some grape, melon, and floral notes.

This isn’t a complete juice bomb, as it finishes fairly dry, which I enjoy. There’s a nice floral bitterness, with lemon peel and juicy lime. There’s also white grape, melon, and some orange notes, too.

This has a nice crispness to it, and is very drinkable.

I really enjoy still when I see Hill Farmstead on draft locally, it’s something I never would have dreamed of ten years ago.

the single hop pale ales from hill have this perfect light grainy malt character and the perfect level of texture in the light-medium bodied mouthfeel that is wonderfully crisp and imo a perfect base to do a single hop beer with.

found this one to present mostly with lime and grapefruit character, some herbal, earthy, and dank flavors.
