This pale ale is hopped exclusively with Lilikoi hops, an experimental hop variety that has emerged from our partnership with New Zealand’s Hāpi Hop Research Centre and Freestyle Hops. During the 2021 harvest season, Shaun was on hand with the Freestyle team during selections of experimental varieties to determine which might be further pursued. This is the first beer brewed with this hop on American soil, and we value your feedback and input

Poured from a 16oz can into a Veil Willi Becher pint glass. Pours a hazy light orange with three fingers of soapy bright white foam head. Pithy grapefruit, orange marmalade and light pine sap on both the nose and taste. Ever so slightly bitter. Very drinkable. Full mouthfeel. Been a minute since I’ve had anything from HF. Damn shame as this rules.
