One of Shaun’s close friends from his time spent living and brewing in Copenhagen, Mikkel was an early supporter and vital contributor to the success of Hill Farmstead. To mark the celebration of Mikkeller’s 20th Anniversary, we brewed a special batch of IPA with Simcoe® and Strata for the occasion.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sweet candied grapefruit, marijuana, pine, melon, and orange.
This is wonderfully piney and bitter, with a nice juiciness reminiscent of melon, orange and grapefruit. It’s a very classic, old fashioned sort of Vermont style IPA, with a lot of clean and pleasant bitterness to it. It’s juicy but certainly not a juice bomb.
This is light, crisp, and quite drinkable.
This was quite easy and quite enjoyable to drink a growler of – just fresh and clean tasting Vermont IPA.
