Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay "Self-Reliance" inspires and compels our persistent reflection, examination, and refinement. This release of our Farmstead® single-hop India pale ale was brewed in September of 2024, conditioned in oak barrels, and hopped copiously with Amarillo® and Strata®.

This one pours a slightly hazy pale orange color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like tart grapefruit, with lemon peel, Smarties, marijuana, wine barrel, with some floral notes.
I really, really enjoy all these beers – they have basically batting .1000 for me. This has some nice candied hop notes, and it’s quite lemony, with lots of grapefruit too. There’s a very pleasant floral bitterness to it, with a soft and pleasant acidity on the back end.
This is light bodied, soft, and super drinkable.
This is really excellent – Hill Farmstead does these farmhouse/Farmstead sour IPAs so well.
