This sixth entry in our blended double-barrel aged series was debuted at our Winter Gathering under the moniker Pour #3. It is composed of three elements: A portion of our cherished Imperial Stout, Damon, rested for 18 months in a Port barrel and then spent 16 additional months in a Whiskey barrel from WhistlePig Whiskey; our Viola Sofia Imperial Stout aged for 30 months in a Bourbon barrel; and one barrel of Aaron, our Barleywine-style ale, also aged for 30 months in a Bourbon barrel, then moved to a Whiskey barrel from WhistlePig Whiskey. The curated blend was then conditioned atop organic Madagascar vanilla beans
