Blend on tap at Harvest Fest VIP event. Pale pour with white head. Aroma of wet hop juice, I think both these beers blend and combine their respective qualities very well. Society brings the fruity grapefruit aspect of the hops while Ephraim brings the dank, piney/oniony side of things to the table. Taste is brutally bitter but good. A very nice mix.

Keg served at the VIP Harvest Festival. Poured into HF branded stemware. I think this was tapped right after CD4.5. Reviewed from notes written down while drinking.

A- Pours a hazy slighty yellowish orange with a thin layer of white head that leaves spotty layered lacing.

S- Mango, orange, some pineapple, grapefruit, light lemons. A little bit more SS4 then Ephraim. About average to slightly above average aroma strength.

T- Orange, light pineapple, some grapefruit, light lemons, a hint of bitterness and some light zest on the finish.

M- Medium bodied, a little bit fuller bodied then your average IPA, nice carbonation, smooth, and incredibly drinkable at over 9%.

O- This was a very nice blend between two great DIPAs. There were definitely qualities of both beers that shined through nicely. In my opinion I would probably take either of the base beers over the blend though. Very nice to try though and I would definitely drink it again in the future if I was given the chance.

On-tap at HF Harvest Fest 2012...into HF wine glass.

Pours a darker orange/yellow color, mirky, light white head, thin collar. Nose is very sweet and fruity, light pine, not overly bitter and just about right for me. Flavor is tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, citrus, grassy, and light pine. The body is light toward medium, good carbonation, hoppy bitter finish.

The tropical fruits were possibly the most fruity DIPA's I've ever had, and the sweetness so was so good I was taken back. The hops were second in this beer, and while there was a lot of bitterness, the sweetness was the dominant note and really shined. Excellent beer, excellent blend, and just overall tasty.
