Our version of a Bavarian Pils showcases the high quality ingredients we use to create our lagers. Choice malts imported from Bamberg build the smooth lager character and accentuate the noble hops of the Hallertau region. The hops provide light floral and subtle bittering notes, allowing the malt to shine through.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded o a wispy cap with a thick collar; nice rings of lace;
S: grass and sulfur;
T: sweet malt up front; floral from the middle through the finish; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: easy drinking; refreshing; too much sulfur in the aroma; would have liked a bit more bitterness, but the bitterness level is true to the Bavarian style;

Sampled in a side-by-side with the VonT flagship Bohemian Pils.
This offering is about one shade darker than the Bohemian Pils and clearer. The nose is oddly similar. The flavor profile of this one is more grainy and less bitter than the flagship. The bodies on these two are fairly even.

From the can, it pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a very nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets grass predominantly. The mouth follows with a German pilsner bitterness brew that is enjoyable to drink and calls for another!

Pours a gold color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grasses and floral notes. Taste is peppery with a slight hoppy bitterness at the end. Crisp and dry.

Sabtos’ review says it best.
Astounding German-style lager. Honey drizzles, royally gentle hoppy terrains, herbal crackers for days. Taste and feel are truly top of class standouts. I mean the feel is tremendously satisfying. Remains delicious at any pace of drinking, from dainty sipping to thirst quenching missions. Hugely successful beer. Yum
