Our version of a Bavarian Pils showcases the high quality ingredients we use to create our lagers. Choice malts imported from Bamberg build the smooth lager character and accentuate the noble hops of the Hallertau region. The hops provide light floral and subtle bittering notes, allowing the malt to shine through.

Clear light amber with a dense white head leaving a full layer of stalactite lacing around the circumference.

Solidly bitter without specific characteristics and a lightly toasty backing.

Inoffensive, perhaps flawless, and crushable af. This could be a standard bearer if they didn't have a few of those already.

12oz can into a small glass. Best by 9/13/23, so a month inside the wire here.

Splendid looking beer. Bright pale golden body, massive bright white head, swarms of carbonation, thick lacing. Good floral aroma. Clean tasting, extremely drinkable. The finish is quite bitter.

(12 oz can, best 09/13/23; purchased cold single at Pinocchio's a few days ago... poured into my Human Robot tubinger mug)

L: two-finger high, glossy white foam atop a crystal-clear, yellowy brass colored liquid; foam dimples as it recedes, keeping its fine, tight bubble structure... for the most part, a nearly intact cap keeps till the end, lacing little though

S: all kinds of white bread crumb, subtly toasty, studded with a million streaks of grassy, wildflowery hop goodness... excellent potency with pervasive bread crusty and mineral springy character

T: much like the aromas, with a doughy, cereal-grain breadiness at its core, accented on the edges with a spicy florality... a few sips in and a subtle honeyish aftertaste adds a bit of depth and interest to the malt, and a dry-grass bitterness slowly emerges, mildly peppery later... bread and grass, farm and field; dry, but not dry

F: I just can't keep this in or out of my mouth, keep going back for more... somewhat silky in its swift cleanliness, layering hop resins and sugar residuals maybe; the crescendoing peppery spice slowly stokes the palate, wringing out salivation, hunger

O: first time seeing this, though I've kept my eyes open for it a long enough time... I'd drink this every other day; dynamically flavored... just kept getting better with each sip; the gradual layering and expanding of flavor nuance was remarkable (2150)

Half liter pours on tap at the brewery. Surprisingly expensive, but whatever, it's for tourists and I'm a tourist.

A very good American-made iteration of a Bavarian Pils. Crystal clear, glimmering bright yellow with fine effervescence. Aroma is gentle, light fruit and floral spice, very crisp and clean. Likewise the flavor: straightforward, but expertly brewed, and that's something you don't see all that often from American pilseners.

Alas, this style has fallen vastly out of fashion among American beersmen. No joke, we were there around 3 PM on a Saturday and a solid half of the guests had strong accents and appeared to be German and Austrian nationals (you can also tell they're from Europe because they're weirdly blonde and in very good shape in spite of drinking heavily). What I'm getting at is this brewery is very good but still niche because of where the craft industry is right now. If you have any interest in old world beers, however, I'd say this is worth your attention.

Clear, pale gold appearance with an average size white head and good lacing. Distinct aroma that lets you know you are enjoying a well made German Pilsner; grainy and cracker-like with touches of floral hops. Modest malt sweetness compliments the evolving hop bitterness as the graininess softens. Crisp, clean, dry, medium bodied mouthfeel with good carbonation. Gonna go look for another 6er of this one.

Pours a large frothy fizzy almost 2 finger head with moderate retention, a bit of whispy lacing, crystal clear pale gold color

Nose lots of pilsner malt, grainy sweet, a bit doughy cereal, some corn, corn bread dough almost, light floral herbal hops

Taste lots more pilsner malt, grainy sweet, fair doughy with an almost cake batter level, more corn, cereal, bready, then med bitterness from herbal floral hops, soft lager with dry crisp finish, med to higher bitterness on the crisp finish with mild spicy and fair herbal/floral hops

Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, soft lager, med higher frothy carb

Overall solid Bavarian pilsner
