They were out of dunkel today so I tried this instead. From the style guideline on here and brewery description, it seems to be close to a dortmunder gold. It has also been dry-hopped.
Pours a pale white/gold color with little head into my glass.
Aroma is full of sweet, not too grainy malt with a hint of hops.
Taste is full of sweet, buttery malt with a slight dryness to it. Enjoyable.
Mouthfeel is full of lingering sweetness. Not much else.
Light and enjoyable for a hot day. Certainly worth the trip and if anything, this brewery is showing a lot of promise for the styles they are brewing, which are uncommon, if not rare in VT.
