Pours a slightly hazy straw with three fingers of bright white head.
Pretty clean nose with a slight hint of sulfur.
Straightforwardly malty sweet then bitter which carries over into the aftertaste.
Overall just a simple beer that is a great session drinker.

Scored with a variety pack while on vacation, one came home with me. Poured from can into tulip, scan 1 finger head so so retention. Pale golden, chill hazed clear in the glass. Grass notes on the nose. Crisp grain on the sip, slight grassiness thru the middle and finishes with a nice clean bitterness. Nice drinker, wish I had access to von trapp in Houston. Actually the first Pils variety pack I have ever seen.

Sampled in a side-by-side with the VonT flagship Bohemian Pils.
Pours paler than the pils. The nose is grainy and herbal. The flavor profile is mildly malty with some grassy notes.
