This collaboration with Barriehaus Beer Co. of Tampa, Florida is the next offering in our Collab Series, a German-inspired premium pils featuring Heidelberg malt and Tettnang and Hersbrucker hops. Light straw in color with bright notes of lemon, hay, and fresh cut grass with a firm bitterness and dry, effervescent finish.

Washed out pale yellow pour and body; dense, tiny bubble carbonation; thick, loosely sudsy head, white and lasting with spidery strings of foam etching the glass. Cracker-like malt scent infused with green herb notes; a touch of overripe fruit. Subdued flavors mimicking the smell; cracker and bread crust notes; delicately zesty, peppery hop flavor with dried thyme. Light to medium-light body; crisp and slightly dry mouthfeel.

A pretty decent German-style pilsner bringing nuanced elements of the malt base with a punchier hop presence. Easy drinking. A respectable collaborative effort between Von Trapp Brewing and Barriehaus Beer Co.

Absolutely true to the style! Pale straw gold color (personally, I'd love it to be rich gold but that's a personal preference), extremely elegant summer grassy aroma, the body is just right (not thin not rich), and the taste takes the cake! Beautifully crisp and dry with elegantly accentuated noble hop presence - not every German Pils has that!

Loved it. Absolutely worthy.
