Lookin' like : This beer pours a beautiful peach-mango glow, with small hints of dirty iced tea hues mixed in. The body is about 90% opaque with just enough light passing through to light it up to a tiny glow. Fingers on the other side are shadowed and silhouetted nicely.
The head is 2 fingers tall, "copy paper" white, leaves mountains of lace and descends to a solid murky ring. Beautiful Belgian presentation.
Smellin' like : Sliced mandarin oranges in fresh water. Fried banana, cinnamon, plum, white peach, and nectarine. A bit of stiff cardamom. A touch of eucalyptus. Nice profile, although not very strong.
Tasting like : Delicious. There's not a lot to be detected other than lots of yeast, wheat, and mandarin orange. I'd say it's greatest feature is that its quaffable (for a Tripel, especially), and it really suspends creaminess in the feel. There's a good balance here although no flavor stands out above another. The alcohol burn comes a minute or so after the drink is gulped and warms the throat at a spicy 8.0% ABV.
Feeling like : Pretty much described above. Creamy, quaffable, with a warming alcoholic presence.
Overall : I'd have it again, but unfortunately I think I've got one of the last bottles made. It's a limited, never to be brewed again, and was rare to begin with. Luckily I found it cheap and was able to review it before it went to beer heaven to never be seen again!

The beer pours a dark honey golden to light copper in color. There is a tall head of white to off-white foam, a bit thick.
The aroma is toasted golden grains, grassy tang of hops and a fruity yeastiness, lightly sweet, but tempered by grass and straw.
The taste follows the aromas and adds big juicy apricots and a little more sweetness than the aroma. The tangle of round, juicy, fruity sweetness, along with citrus and kiwi tartness add a vinous note, no doubt the Sauvignon Blanc notes deriving from the Nelson Sauvin hops.
There is a medium-bodied, full, round, smoothness in the mouth. The carbonation is light, the bitterness is also light and the finish is just this side of dry. This is excellent.

A- golden. Light in color. Hay. Straw hues.
Aroma - faint spice, honey, faint pepper.
Taste - melons, pink peppercorn, honey, white bread, tart finish
Mouthfeel: bubbly, effervescent. Champagne like.
Overall - decent belgian. Tried it on tap and in bottle. Fresh and older. Worth a try.
